Sculptural Teak Wood Bench Hand-carved from Madura Island, Java, Indonesia celebrating the cracks and crevices and all the other marks that time and loving use have left behind. We added rustic iron industrial legs to this antique thick slab. It’s all in the details. A wonderful sculptural object with wood textures and shades. The seat was carved from a single block of teak wood. The seat has a slight curve at one side. This bench dates to the mid 20th Century. The mix of curved and straight lines make for a very elegant bench. A wonderful addition to any space.
