TASWIRA remains committed to inclusivity, cultural exploration, and fostering deep connections between artists and audiences.

Over the past three years, TASWIRA’s flagship location has established itself as a cultural hub where art and community intersect, showcasing a global portfolio of contemporary emerging artists.

Founded by Avery Barnes, TASWIRA began as a collective platform, sharing stories and handmade crafts through her involvement in developing a women’s center in Kenya.
TASWIRA’s December 2024 grand reopening in Seattle’s historic Pioneer Square and the gallery’s sold-out success with To the Ones Who Remain Unbroken by Cristina Martinez, marks a renewed commitment to dynamic storytelling and solidifies TASWIRA’s role as a premier destination for collectors of contemporary art.

We invite you to invest in TASWIRA.
